Common Core Standards

Common standards of education, adopted by more than 45 states this year include a strong component of English Language Arts. The emphasis is on writing and reading of utility.

For example, in the 4th grade, students should read 50% of literary texts and information texts by 50%. The percentage breakdowns of persuasion Grade 4 30%, explain 35% and 35% to share their experiences. The prevalence of reading and writing briefing materials, evaluate the content, form opinions and persuade. Never asked students to read and write for fun, the joy of reading or writing is never mentioned. A second approach in the common core standards in ELA is a preparation for college and careers. Students are encouraged to work as a team to manage the technology, to negotiate opinions and try to persuade using reason. All the time you work together and integrate technology regularly. In elementary school, teachers are responsible for teaching many of ELA standards. In secondary schools, English teachers share responsibility with content areas of history, science, technology and social studies. Reading standards are classified into four areas: management of the main ideas and details, boats and the structure, expertise and integration of concepts, and the choice of reading and the complexity of the text. Basically, students need to understand the content, the distinction between important and less important ideas, and analyze information. While doing this, students must understand the vocabulary, language and perspective to assess how it affects the issues and the purpose of art. While reading a large number of print and digital media, students should be able to access, analyze and synthesize information.
